14. The monument of Thao Thep Krasattri and Thao Sri Sunthon

It is located at the Taling Chan intersection and was built to honor the courageous and sacrificial acts of the heroines of Thalang, Phuket, during the Battle of Thalang against the Burmese invasion of 1785 during the reign of King Rama I. At that time, the Burmese army, consisting of nine armies, invaded and attacked the Kingdom of Siam.
